DEPT. OF FRONTIER LABOR

Building the Foundation of Terra

Welcome to the Department of Frontier Labor.

The expansion of the Terran Council across the Stanton system and beyond relies on the sweat, determination, and unyielding effort of our frontier workforce. From the deepest caverns of Daymar to the processing decks of orbital refineries, every worker is a vital gear in the Terran industrial machine. Compliance with labor quotas is not merely a contractual obligation; it is a civic duty to the Cradle.

⛏️ Extraction & Mining Directives

All planetary and orbital resource extraction operations must comply with the Terran Mining Accord. Authorized vessels include Greycat ROC ground vehicles, MISC Prospector solo-extractors, and Argo MOLE heavy multi-crew platforms.

  • Inert Material Filtering: Active extraction heads must run high-efficiency filters. Cargo holds containing more than 15% inert material are subject to refinery processing surcharges.
  • Quantanium Stabilization: Highly volatile raw Quantanium must be transported directly to the nearest refinery. Pilots are granted a maximum 15-minute stabilization window from extraction to docking before containment rupture occurs.
  • Refinery Processing: Raw ore must be cataloged immediately upon arrival at orbital refinery stations (including ARC-L1, MIC-L1, and HUR-L2). All jobs must be registered via the Co-Pilot interface.

📦 Logistics & Cargo Manifests

Frontier commerce is the lifeblood of the Council. Pilots operating cargo transport vessels (such as Drake Caterpillars, Crusader C2 Hercules, and MISC Hull series) must adhere to strict hauling protocols.

  • Manifest Submission: All cargo manifests must be uploaded to the Terran Customs Registry via the Co-Pilot console app prior to quantum jump initialization.
  • Hazardous Cargo: Volatile substances, refined minerals, and Class-3 military supplies require specific transport permits and are subject to defense checkpoints.
  • Security Escort: Cargo runs passing through unmonitored sectors are strongly advised to coordinate security details with the Department of Defense. Unsanctioned shipping lanes are not covered by Council insurance.

⚙️ Reclamation & Salvage Protocols

Nothing goes to waste. The debris of the frontier is the raw material of our future fleets. All salvage crews operating Aegis Reclaimers or Drake Vultures must comply with the following mandates:

  • Hull Scraping: Industrial extraction of Recycled Material Composite (RMC) must be stored in standard SCU crates and processed immediately.
  • Structural Fracturing: Disassembly of ship hulls must only be conducted in designated scrap zones. Fracturing volatile fuel tanks without venting will result in immediate suspension of salvage licenses.
  • Fair Chance Act Compliance: Salvage operations are strictly prohibited within systems containing developing species (e.g. Oso system) to prevent industrial pollution.

⚖️ Labor Compliance & Registration

To maintain operational efficiency and suppress union-aligned dissent, all frontier workers must register their active credentials.

Refinery Efficiency Notice

When submitting extraction yields, consult the refinery technicians regarding method yields. Selecting the Dinyan Solvents method offers the highest material yield at the cost of processing speed. The Cormack Method provides rapid turnaround times but incurs a 15% reduction in total refined yield. Workers are expected to make optimal choices based on active Council demand.

DECRYPTED: COVALEX LABOR UNION TRANSCRIPT

> INTERCEPT [COMMS-NET-09]: They didn't want us tracking it. For months, the Council claimed the "Raw Input" fields in our refinery logs were 'lost during database translation.' But now that they've been forced to add the Raw Input tracking back into the active jobs dashboard, the math doesn't add up.

> UNION REP: Look at the logs. On average, 25-30% of the raw ore volume simply disappears during the "refinement margin adjustment" phase. It isn't slag, and it isn't refining loss. They are siphoning cargo loads directly from orbital refineries to supply the planetary defense fleet at Hurston without compensating the miners.

> ACTION: Keep logging every single run. Keep entering the exact raw values. If they flag your account for "refinery margin audit," dump your Quantanium cargo and head for Grim HEX.
